I HIDE MYSELF, voice+cello ensemble
A piece composed in 2008, if I remember well, then lost among the chaos of scores… a short song based on a delicate poetry by Emily Dickinson. I’ve performed it a couple of times, singing it myself, alternating between voice and cello with the support of a Loop Station, which can now be done with various apps. It can also be performed with voice/cello and cello ensemble, with the voice being that of the solo cellist or an external singer, male or female. Another version, also published by Ricercare Editions, is for female voice and piano.
