I actually had fun playing with this mysterious name, behind which pseudo-research (or curious claims) would support the identity (real, hidden, Sicilian from Messina) of William Shakespeare. Of course, between curiosity and amusement, I thought about this when Yo Yo Ma commissioned me a couple of works to be performed together with him and other colleagues at Tanglewood Festival in 2015 for a program entirely dedicated to Shakespeare and Cervantes.
